First, understand that I don’t ordinarily write reviews. I’ll read the first couple of sentences of someone else’s review, on occasion. My reason: I’m one of those people who believe that we will do our jobs well, we work hard and, unless there’s a peculiar reason, it’s fair to expect good performance.
What causes me to write this review is the exceptional experience I had with my move. I was moving from a third-floor, 2 bedroom apartment to a condo 100 miles away. My discussions were with Nick, the lead guy at Ron’s. Nick, was flexible and endeavored to adjust to my schedule. We had set the date about 6 weeks before the move was to happen. Some issues with my condo not being ready resulted in the need to delay the move. Again, Nick was reasonably flexible even though he was dealing with a crew of 5 for completing packing and loading the truck, and a crew of 3 for delivery and unloading the second day. Nick was particularly good about having to make one more time adjustment on the morning of the unloading because a painting contractor had finished painting but had not finished clearing the condo to allow off-loading of the truck to happen without interference.
The men who were assigned to do the move were unequivocally professional, from the way they addressed me, to the way they handled my possessions (a number of which were valuable because of their age or the nature of the item), to taking time to make sure furniture was placed where I wanted it to end up. I could barely keep up with them as boxes were coming off the truck while I engaged in another room with other boxes. They knew when to ask questions. They listened well.
All said, my move was relatively painless. Within 5 minutes of the crew beginning at my apartment I knew I’d made the right decision to hire Ron’s. They deserve the highest rating. I won’t hesitate recommending them.
