It took 2 men to carry down my steps items, so I was a little confused when a 3rd person showed up, when I was told 3 men would cost more and I said, no I only need 2 cause I have 7 items and almost every item takes 2 people so what will the third person do? Exactly, but it was okay. All 3 of them were very polite and fast and they took off my door to make space to deliver it to the room where I needed it in, but yeah, pricey, but I guess I physically wasn't able to do it myself so it is what it is, and yes, I will definitely use this company again.. 7 items almost 3 hrs and it was $834.

Ron's Moving made our problems disappear! We had a very heavy combination wood/electric stove that no one would haul away for us. I had hacked away at some of the cast iron and taken off the doors so it would fit through our doors but imagine my surprise when they flipped it up on a dolly and carted it away in one minute. In hindsight, I am very glad that we had Ron's come. They brought a big truck with a powerful tailgate lift. The crew had some real expertise in how to move heavy items. If I had hired two men and a pickup they would have injured themselves and damaged the house. The business side is very professional - the office returns calls, sent me a link to upload a video of the work, explained the costs. The crew worked efficiently - first had me show them everything we wanted moved. We were having them haul away some old furniture in the living room and that got my wife to thinking about re-arranging what was left. Next thing you know, she (with all her 70 year old body) is trying to move this heavy couch. "I think the movers will have time to move that for us," I said. Lo and behold, what would have had both of us visiting the chiropractor, the crew did in five seconds. When they were finished, they had me walk through the house one last time to make sure there wasn't anything else to move. I can't say enough about the staff and the crew. Today I got my bill and it was actually quite a bit under what I had anticipated. I really encourage you to go with the pros.

In hindsight, I am very glad that we had Ron's come. They brought a big truck with a powerful tailgate lift. The crew had some real expertise in how to move heavy items. If I had hired two men and a pickup they would have injured themselves and damaged the house. The business side is very professional - the office returns calls, sent me a link to upload a video of the work, explained the costs. The crew worked efficiently - first had me show them everything we wanted moved. We were having them haul away some old furniture in the living room and that got my wife to thinking about re-arranging what was left. Next thing you know, she (with all her 70 year old body) is trying to move this heavy couch. "I think the movers will have time to move that for us," I said. Lo and behold, what would have had both of us visiting the chiropractor, the crew did in five seconds. When they were finished, they had me walk through the house one last time to make sure there wasn't anything else to move. I can't say enough about the staff and the crew. Today I got my bill and it was actually quite a bit under what I had anticipated. I really encourage you to go with the pros.

Though it ended up being a bit more expensive than I thought it was going to be, I was really impressed with Ron's Moving Company. The crew (Ray, Skyler, Devon and Dominick) were tireless workers and easily carried heavy boxes and furniture up steep stairs to our 2nd and 3rd floors. We've been in one house for 26 years, so we were not used to moving. We had transferred our kitchen, clothes, and other small stuff ourselves but still had 10 rooms of furniture plus lots of heavy totes and boxes for them to move, fragile things included. When two trucks and five workers arrived we expected a slow, tedious, process on a hot, hot day. Were we ever surprised! After a brief orientation to our big 2-story house, the men cheerfully went into fast mode. They consulted with us as it progressed but never stopped until two big box trucks were carefully packed and ready for the 40-mile drive. They emptied the house, basement, and yard (gas grill for instance) in just over three hours, which included disassembling the beds and other large items and wrapping it all in pads and blankets for travel. Before 4:30 the same day everything was correctly placed and reassembled where necessary in the new house. Still cheerful (and entertaining us throughout the day) they made sure we were satisfied. We've lived a long time and have seen work performed in every venue you can think of, but we've never in our lives seen anything done with such astonishing teamwork, care, and precision -- honestly! (Photos show hose we moved from, then house we moved into.) The cost came in at far less than the estimate, by the way. I wish I could tell you their names, but maybe the company can fill them in after I post this. Thank you each and every one for a great, great day.

Ron's Moving were great to work with, a great price, and guys who cared about my stuff. This was on the heels of a mover which was a terrible, costly experience. (I had to put my stuff in storage for a while.) The first guys moved my stuff from their storage to mine, in the process breaking 2 pieces of furniture and scratching other antique pieces. Dented file cabinets, crushed boxes and tubs (usually marked fragile.)) Ron's, however, did it right, did it on time, and made sure I was aware of the damages and other issues as they loaded. They loaded the truck better, too. And they were very careful to get direction as to where everything went. The four men doing the work were friendly, professional, and did a great job without wasting time. I wish I'd found about them earlier, as I might have saved thousands and had no broken stuff!
