The moving crew (Cody, Joe, and Tony) was absolutely amazing: friendly, polite, efficient, and constantly in motion. And they pulled it off in 10 degree weather the day after a snowstorm! Make them your first call if you need movers!

I recently hired Ron's Movers, in Holden Maine, to move an elderly relative in an assisted living residence. My relative was downsizing from an apartment to a large room so much of the apartment contents had to be disposed of. I was very concerned how we were going to separate and manage the move. Nick met me at the facility and immediately put my worries to rest. He told me the move was no problem, I didn't have to worry they would move whatever was going to the new room and anything left in the apartment that was useable they would take to a charitable organization. Three movers arrived on the scheduled time and were wonderful. They were kind, professional, helpful and could not have been nicer to work with. Ron's Movers handled the entire process efficiently and professionly. I highly recommend this company. They are outstanding.

This was truly the best moving experience ever. They were super professional and accommodating for my December move, planning around weather events, even opting for a Saturday move when all other dates fell through. 3 men were assigned to move all the furniture for my 2-bed second floor apartment to 3 bedroom house single story house and it took less than 3 hours! They were super nice and very efficient and careful with all my items. Any furniture pieces that had to be disassembled were reassembled once put in the new place and they took direction very well when it came to placement and arrangement. I could not be happier with them; 10/10 for all involved!!

I hired Ron’s Moving and had a great experience! 5 STARS across the board!

The price was affordable. The two gentlemen that moved our storage unit into our house were right on time, and efficient. They made it easy for my wife and I by placing the items in the rooms we wanted. They didn’t complain about having to take majority of the heavy items into the basement, yet they looked at it as a fun challenge. Nothing was damaged! They did point out some previous existing damage prior to moving, which I appreciated.

I moved to Maine from VA. I just got done running a moving company as a GM for the past 5 years.. and I have to say.. These guys are LEGIT PROS! Take it from someone who doesn’t know it all.. but knows a lot about the industry. I will hire Ron’s moving every time I need help.

3 workers moved some large items from old apartment to new in 85 degree weather. It was very hot but they were very professional and friendly, and handled all my items with great care. Since my apartments were pretty close, they even removed the truck fee which I really appreciate. They moved all my stuff in an hour. Do know that they start timing as soon as they leave Holden so it’s not just the moving time you’re paying for. Overall would recommend to any college kid or otherwise!

My entire family were in awe of these movers. Nick gave us an estimate of the cost to move and came in several hundred dollars LOWER. When the 4 men arrived (as scheduled and on time) they asked for a tour of the house and what and where contents were to be moved (3 different places). Then it was “full speed ahead.” It was a hot day but never have I seen a team work faster, co-ordinate every move and so efficiently, all without a negative look or voice. Sooooo pleasant! If you are not hiring RON’S MOVING you’re hiring the wrong company!

Ron's Moving recently moved the contents of our home in Orono to MDI. The crew of 3 arrived promptly as scheduled and proceeded to carefully and efficiently load the truck. Our job was complicated by the fact that the furnishings needed to be loaded to facilitate unloading in 5 different buildings on MDI. They thoughtfully and with a positive spirit rose to this challenge. The delivery on MDI went smoothly and without any damage whatsoever. I was impressed with the pride and professional spirit shown by the crew. My wife and I agreed it was the best money we've spent in a long time! From my initial phone call to Ron's Moving, I knew this was THE MOVER TO HIRE! Nick was efficient and concise with his communications regarding estimates and logistics. Cody, Travis, and Doug, the men who came to do the actual moving, were wonderful! I can't praise Rons Moving enough. We had a move from Wisconsin to Maine via PODS to their facility in Portland, and contacted Rons Moving to do the final leg of the move to Mariaville. A move like this is stressful, but from the first call to final payment I felt at ease when dealing with them. They communicated with me extremely well throughout the process, without even seeing our stuff their estimates were within 5% of the final total, and they seamlessly handled issues with PODS that arose that were entirely my fault. Our stuff was moved quickly and placed almost exactly where detailed. What a great company to work with.

Nick was extremely helpful as I was trying to organize a move from CT for my parents who live in the Hamden area. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. Unfortunately, secondary to the weather the original date had to be rescheduled, which he was apologetic for and worked with me to get the next available day.

We hired Ron’s moving to move my mother who has health issues. These guys were excellent, professional and hard working. She has a lot of older stuff that we had limited time to pack. everything was wrapped and strapped on the truck. Not one item was damaged. No damage to the house or apartment and they couldn’t have been kinder or friendlier. Their rates were comparable to other movers we checked out but well worth it. Did I mention the wind chill was 30 below? Didn’t phase them. I don’t write reviews but this one needed to be written.

My original movers BAILED on me 15 minutes before they were due to pickup the shipping containers & get started packing my belongings. I couldn't reach them after that & was scrambling to find another mover when Ron's was referred to me & what a relief they were!! The only moving company that even replied & was willing to handle my order; I cannot tell you how gracious, professional & efficient these gentlemen were when they came out to complete the work. Nothing broken, everything done the way I expected it to be & quickly! No matter what I needed done, they did it without an argument or question. Highly recommend for your local or long distance move for yourself or especially a loved one with precious cargo. THEY ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!

I would highly recommend Ron's Moving to anyone. First, Nick was so very helpful providing me with the information needed, he was always available for questions and was very inviting and accommodating. Then, last week, 3 movers from Ron's: Dominic, PJ, and Cody, came and professionally and carefully moved my entire household to a new location 3 hours away. Not only were these three gentlemen hard working, fast and efficient, but they were also very pleasant, comforting and encouraging in what was a difficult situation for me. On the loading end, they were willing to shift many items that were NOT being relocated in order to get to the items that were. They also faced awkward stairways, multiple flights of stairs, heavy furniture and lots awkward boxes gracefully and capably. I have moved many times over the years, and this was the very BEST experience I have every had with a moving company/movers ever. I was both impressed by and grateful for a job well done! I will call Ron's again whenever I relocate, and will recommend them to anyone who is moving. Do yourself a favor and hire them!

I immediately called five or six movers I found on Yelp and literally Ron's Moving was the only one that called back. I had no idea that those other businesses actually did me a huge favor! I dealt with Nick at Ron's Moving. He was highly responsive and was both incredibly helpful and accommodating to our situation. He was able to assemble a crew and sent four of his amazing team members over to help us. I can't believe how fast they moved us in! These guys were fantastic! They were great with scheduling and called the night before to confirm all of the details. The three guys who came to complete the move arrived early and got right to work. They were extremely quick, efficient and very polite. When they arrived at my new residence, they placed rugs on the floor to ensure they didn't track wet feet into the house and even swept my porch to reduce dirt. The company owner called halfway through the move to check in with me and be sure everything was going as planned. I couldn't recommend these guys more!
